The plan was to meet and leave 8:30am at The Arco gas station at Hillsdale &
Edgewater in Foster City and drive to Clear Lake.  Easy right?

Well I arrived at the Arco at 8:01am and got gas, coffee & lotto ticket.  While
drooling all over my new bike Chris (Noble Creed) pulls in for a pack of smokes.
Chris's suggestion was to go to Starbucks and we took off in search of stronger
coffee. Pete, Danni & Rob pulled in and we drank more coffee while discussing
the ride.

At 9:12 am we left via Hwy 92 bridge and immediately Robs throttle got stuck!  I
pursued and caught up to him doing 133mph, he seemed to have control of the
issue and we pulled over and discussed the finer things in life while waiting for the
group to come over the bridge and drive past, we decided to let them get down the
road a ways in case his throttle gets stuck again.

We drove up Hwy 80 and Danni found a humungo roll of carpet padding laying in
the middle of her lane, while ripping towards the obstacle she avoided smacking
her 883 Sportster into it (even though it did look soft).  We all pulled over on
Appian Way to get bridge toll, take a leak and more coffee.  As we crossed the
Carquinez Bridge we merged onto Hwy 29 and got into the biking groove.

Now as we are riding and I look over, Rob seems busy and preoccupied like he's
got something stuck to his pants all the way to Calistoga.  (I thought he was jerking
off or something) When we pull into Calistoga we find out a earlier rider (Pete)
probably stirred up a bee's nest and Rob drove right thru the swarm and got
multiple bee stings (on his nuts).

We drove up to Middletown and were refused service at the first restaurant we
went into "the beyach" waitress had her panties in a bunch and Chris wasn't having
any part of it so we walked down to the brewery and had burgers and more coffee.

Off we go... we found the Hidden Valley, and we rode up to Lower Lake and
made a left and headed to Soda Bay Road.  While enjoying the twisty's and the
view of the lake Rob missed a turn, he was the last person in our pack and I was
second to last.  I heard the skid through the iPod headset (2 live crew) and noticed
Rob was not behind me anymore.  I flipped a bitch and raced back to find Rob
upright at the end of a 75 foot skid off the road.  Amazingly he saved it, I still don't
know how.  We had a Kodak moment and hit it to find our crew.

We spent a lot of time around the Soda Bay Road area checking out the locals and
meeting new people (we got lost)  Finally we figured it out, we didn't care anymore
(about being lost)! So we split up to go find each other so we can head back.  I left
Pete at the gas station and went back to locate Rob, Danni and Chris who were all
heading to the gas station anyways.

We jumped on Hwy 281 going west and hit Hwy 29 again and pulled over in
another gas station at the corner of Red Hills and Hwy 29 and met some more
colorful locals who had their own opinions of which road we should be taking
home.  It's funny to watch as they pointed both north and south.  Chris and Pete
both agreed north and we went past Lakeport, Lyons, Upper Lake, Scotts Valley
and we ended in Laughlin CA.  It was there we started to drive south past Ukiah,
along the Russian River and stopped for more coffee in Hopland.  I gotta say we
were having a great day riding.

From Hopland we drove along Hwy 101 at a reasonable 90mph average until we
arrived in Petaluma for more gas and Red Bull (sugar free).  With the coffee and
the Red bull fighting the for attention we did some quality lane splitting all the way
to San Pablo where the traffic was so fucked I wanted to shoot somebody.  My
new bike has the biggest ass (saddle bags) and it does not like lane splitting in East
Bay stand still traffic.  I waved off Rob and headed home to the Sunny City of
Oakland

We spent over 9 1/2 hours covering 350 miles, had many climbs, corners, descents,
twisty's and bugs... topped out at 133 mph and averaged 90mph for most the way!

All in all it was a great day riding with friends, the sky's were blue the weather was
awsome. We all made it home & nobody was severely hurt (except for those dead
bugs).
