Fabby's Ride report
Sunday was an open ride day, as it turns out it was Pete's
birthday and Mike's first full day with his Road Glide back. Mike
and I had planned on ridding somewhere on Sunday since we
had not been able to ride together since the accident about 3
months. We went to breakfast at the B street Rotisserie where
we met up with Pete and Berni. Pete and Berni had planned on
ridding to Dudley Perkins new location in SSF.

As we were discussing the route and destination I mentioned I
used to work around the corner from where we were heading,
so as a result I preceded to lead my first Posse ride.  We took B
street down to 4th st and headed down to hwy 101 north. Since
it was my first time leading a ride I kept the lane changes to a
minimum. (but then again from San Mateo to SSF it was a pretty
short ride) And of course I didn't want to break the Posse
tradition of getting lost.... and it came very natural as I rode
straight past Corey way, where we were supposed to hang a
right.

A short time later we arrived at our destination where we met up
with a few Posse members that had ridden from the grill earlier
that morning. Pete and Rob lead most of the way back, Mike and
I broke off at 3rd street and I finished the ride leading myself and
Mike back home.

Ride one of many, working towards my road captain patch.
